  • Xanga Babylon

You want to hear something personal? I´m looking for language classes. Reason? I want to. And I do hope that in a near future, I will really need to use it. Maybe in Europe?

Anyway, I have read lots of blogs lately and have noticed the large range of language usage.

No, I´m not even mentioning I will learn French and Italian because of Xanga. First because  some of my friends ( Nala and carlo- ti amo you guys!) take the good care of putting all the stuff they write into English…whew! But anyway.. As we use language to get to know people.. Then why not master it? Them?

You guys take care and remember: K.I S.S.

ps. Just hope my indian friends dont start writing in.. Hindi for instance…

  • Hey, estudar línguas para mim, é acima de tudo um prazer, não sei como tem gente que encara isso como uma obrigação! Legal saber que você está indo estudar Francês e Italiano, espero que se de bem.

  • A wonderful reason. I know that the study of languages does not appeal to everyone but, for those to whom it means a lot, the ability to comprehend and even possibly communicate back with someone in their native language, to me, shows the highest respect for that person.
I “dabble” in eight different languages (and I don’t mean, English, Welsh, Scottish, Australian, New Zealandian(?), American, South African or EASLIS = English as a second language in Scandinavia!) and I enjoy being able to communicate, even if on a very small scale, with those native speakers.
The English, Americans and Canadians are the laziest in attempting to learn other languages. Bizarre isn’t it? English is NOT easy, is it?

  • YOU GO!! I think its a great idea. I personally always wanted to speak japanese. About the only other language I know is piglatin.
