  • Building Castles

    There was once on a summer day, I was on the beach with a friend, odserving two kids playing on the sand. They were working hard building a castle with high towers, and inner rooms.

    When they were almost done, there came a wave and destroyed everything they had built. We thought they would just start crying after so much effort for nothing.

    Instead of crying, they ran holding hands and smiling along the beach.  Far from the water they started building another castle.  I know now I have learned some good lesson;

    We waste too much time of our lives building something, and sooner or later, any wave can come and destroy everything. But when it happens ( If it happens..) those who have any hand to hold are able to smile. The only things that rest is love, friendship and tenderness. The rest is just sand.

  • Hi Lotus,
    Two kids playing in the beach…nice, a good story. I would add, never build a castle in the sand if you something who will last a little longer.
    Joking as always.

  • I like very much this text and thank you , Lotus , to share us . I like particularly the two last sentences and I totaly agree them . However I would add , if you permit it , love , friendship and tenderness are always to build and build again every day all our life along .
