  • Sing a song of chocolate…
Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate! You spread over my tongue and soak through my tastebuds like the first rainfall on cracked, dry land. How efficient you are for expediently boosting my mood! How the world changes under your milky influence!

I make myself ill. Ill on sugar, ill on words, ill on boredom. I leave my song of chocolate and return to Anil’s Ghost, another novel from the fantastic mind of the beautiful Mr. Ondaatje.

**I wrote this inpired on a friend whose presence is as good as chocolate…even his skin is like that..hmm.. have you ever had those delicious friends?

  • WHen i read your ode to chocolate, i laughed out loud because spread out around me is massive amounts of the stuff.  exam time means i eat huge amounts of healthy AND bad stuff… can’t do it without chocolate.  i think chocolatiers pay universities to make us stress…*ahem*

no, i don’t have a friend like that.  but surely an introduction wouldn’t go amiss =)

  • mmmmm.. chocolate!!

  • About your chocolate, try it in its purest way, no milky taste, just black unsweetend, bitter ,pure  chocolate,no milk, no sugar.

About Ondaatje, did you know he is Dutch? Did you see/read  the Inglish patient? the place is Italy, Toscana, one of the most beautiful places in the worls and so full of art….Caravaggio of course, he was the  inspirator of the book.

I wish they were wood of chocolate and rivers of red wine some place

    Cioa Jane/ Shy

    have a great day.
