Greetings to everyone observing Easter this year. During this joyful season of new life and renewal, Christians around the world celebrate the central event of their faith — the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, whom Christians believe is the Messiah, the Son of God.
The life and teachings of Jesus has inspired people throughout the ages to strive for a better world and a more meaningful life. Jesus’ death stands out in history as the perfect example of unconditional love.
The four Gospels of the Christian Bible recount Jesus’ amazing life, his miraculous death, resurrection and ascension, and his unending offer of salvation to all. The story of Jesus wondrous resurrection comes alive again for Christians each year at Easter.Easter Sunday commemorates in song and celebration the joy and promise of Christ’s triumph over evil and death.
May Easter be for us, not just a happy annual holiday which is soon past, nor a short religious digression, but the renewal of a firm commitment to our Faith which will be evident to others as they observe our way of life. If we walk in the light of the Resurrection, Easter will renew and refresh us. Even if we have known it only as the retelling of an old story, let us have the courage this year to bow in faith to the Master who died—who suffered an ignominious death for us—and has given us life. This Easter can be the beginning of a new life as well as of a new day.
For all its personal import, Easter is not a feast for individuals alone. It is experienced in the company of the Church and in the communion that binds us to each other in the Eucharistic Body and Blood.
Have a Nice Holiday

Love is a decision, not a feeling
It is true. I have been thinking about it and recently stumbled upon a discussion online
among believers that love really is a decision, not a feeling. I truthfully can’t deny the fact
that feeling is present, but it is very dangerous to just associate “love” with feelings alone.
In addition, 1 Corinthians 13 – the famous bible passage about love, does not associate
love with state of feelings at all. But it’s a decision, it’s an action. That is what I have recently chosen. To love and be loved.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude,
it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not
delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes,
always perseveres.
Love is definitely a choice and a decision that you have to make. Love can’t be based on
feelings cause feelings come and go and feelings fade. At the end of the day, you have to
CHOOSE to love that person. Love is a sacrifice in all ways and it will take ALL of you to carry
out that sacrifice to make it a commitment.
