Autopsychography
The poet is a faker
Who’s so good at his act
He even fakes the pain
Of pain he feels in fact.
And those who read his words
Will feel in what he wrote
Neither of the pains he has
But just the one they don’t.
And so around its track
This thing called the heart winds,
A little clockwork train
To entertain our minds.
Fernando Pessoa (himself)

Nice words… so true at times for every poet…
lol, the great rock’n'roll swindle before rock’n'roll was invented
very true lines…it works both ways….a poet may reveal pain thru his poetry which may be too less [or too much] compared to wht hes goin thru!thx for the sweet comment u left, i’ll try n blog more often!
How very true…
Ok……before I just comment for the sake of commenting, which would be shallow…..let me just go back and reread that poem…give me some time now to ponder the words.
The poet is a faker…and the heart is a lonely hunter.
hi lotus,
well after quite sometime i have read your blogs…to tell you the truth u do have quite a fan following – it is basically because of the different style you have , i dont have woords to put it right now…but there is definitely a certain individuality about your words , your space..your thoughts…your life…just wanted to tell you that you should never loose it..your individuality is your best asset in all the times of your life…keep the faith
