A long wait for a bus that takes you to the very destination that is so much sought after but in the process of reaching our destination there is so much to be encountered in that mileage of journey.
For some it might be the anxiety to get faster to their destination, and some would like to relax themselves and enjoy the picturesque the journey has to offer.
You can constantly hear the sound of the automobile roaring and propelling itself forward, yet inside this very automobile there is a sense of tranquility.
For many are involved in their own thoughts and their imagination carry them far away. some worried mind trying to figure out a possible solution to their problems.
Some would like to make their journey more reminiscent by listening to music, or would be intrigued in a novel.
Few would prefer staring outside the window and catching a glimpse at the hills that restore a sense of calmness in us.
Automobiles roar by, people come and go but they continue to remain forever, portraying their unimaginable aura that shall always bring a sense of bliss.
Yet few of them would love to slap harmless malice at each other, and some would like to discuss about where their life is heading and probably share a thought about how to get ahead in the rat race.
“Screech” the sudden pressure of the breaks sends our heart thumping and brings us back from our imaginative world, for we are frightened of our wonderful journey turning into a disaster.
Well now, some nefarious words are thrown up, to express our dissent.
The time lapses by and so does the distance to be covered diminishes and many of them resume their hallucinatory state this time probably of something else.

About the bus ride… did I mention, it used to be a daily event for me lasting 3 hours for the past 4 years… miss it so now… and at that time it used to be a pain… oh well…
Neat metaphor, and I think you’ve adequately nailed the attitudes of a lot of the riders on this bus.
Your background is interesting but unobtrusive, and that means I like it. Having that view of the city you live in gives me a better sense of who you are, and I like that too.
